Erik P. Karst
Erik P. Karst is an associate at The Lanier Law Firm in the area of
asbestos injuries litigation. Mr. Karst personally meets with clients and
investigates their exposure to asbestos-containing products both in the
workplace and through home use.
Mr. Karst was born in Jamestown, New York. He earned his undergraduate degree in
Political Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1996. He
went on to earn his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston in
1999. He then attended Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, and graduated in
2001 with a Masters degree in Sports Administration and Management. Mr. Karst
became a member of the State Bar of Texas in 2001, and is an active member of
the Houston Bar Association.
In addition to his asbestos litigation work, Mr. Karst enjoys sports and
entertainment law and has published works in the Texas Entertainment & Sports
Law Journal. He is a former Vice-President of the South Texas College of Law
Sports and Entertainment Society and continues to be an avid sports fan.
Mr. Karst lives in Houston with his wife Sarah.
