Sara A. Morton
Sara A. Morton is an associate at The Lanier Law Firm in the area of toxic tort litigation and asbestos related injuries.
Ms. Morton was born in Houston, Texas in 1980. Ms. Morton received her B.A in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2002. After graduating from Texas A&M, Ms. Morton attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, where she received her J.D. in 2005. While in Law School, Ms. Morton was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and F. Jane Yount Scholarship for academic merit and interest in International Law. She participated in South Texas study abroad programs studying at the University of Malta in Malta and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Ms. Morton worked as an intern for the First Court of Appeals for Justice Tim Taft.
Prior to joining The Lanier Law Firm, Ms. Morton worked with a well recognized Plaintiff’s firm practicing mass tort litigation and later with Rymer Moore Jackson & Echols P.C., a Houston, Texas based civil defense law firm.
Ms. Morton was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2005. Ms. Morton is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
